Carbon Raiser Graphitized petroleum coke GPC
Artificial Graphite Petroleum Coke is made from high quality petroleum coke under a temperature of 2800ºC. And it is widely used as the best kind of recarburizer for producing high quality steel, special steel or other related metallurgical industries, because of its high fixed carbon content, low sulfur content and high absorb rate. Besides, it also can be used in plastic and rubber production as an additive.

Graphite petroleum coke is an important carbon material, and its production process generally includes the following main steps:
1. Raw material selection: Commonly used raw materials are high-quality petroleum coke and natural graphite, which are mixed to achieve a certain ratio to ensure that the final product has the ideal chemical composition.
2. Mixing and crushing: Feed the selected raw materials into the mixer for uniform mixing, and then grind the mixed materials through the crushing equipment into appropriate particle sizes for subsequent processing.
3. Forming: The mixed and pulverized raw materials are fed into the molding machine and extruded or molded to form a green body with the required shape and size.
4. Calcination: Place the formed body in the furnace for high-temperature calcination. During this process, impurities in the raw materials are volatilized and the carbon structure changes to form graphite petroleum coke.
5. Tar recovery: The tar produced during the calcination process can be recovered through systematic collection and processing equipment to achieve effective utilization of resources.
6. Graphitization treatment: The calcined product may need to be graphitized to improve its degree of graphitization to meet the needs of different industries.
7. Finished product processing: After graphitization, the graphite petroleum coke is processed into finished products, including cutting, grinding and other steps to meet the specific needs of customers.
8. Quality inspection and packaging: Conduct quality inspection on the finished product to ensure that the product meets relevant standards, and then package it for convenient storage and transportation.
